My first pair of Simms neoprene waders gave up the ghost many seasons ago. They still have a useful purpose though. Fishing report coming soon. Have a great weekend.
I started this company as an independent guide who could provide a higher level of service. I began my career as a river guide in The Forks. After a season on the Kennebec and Dead rivers I moved over to the West Branch of the Penobscot where I spent six seasons guiding and fishing those waters.
Before long stories of other rivers and ranges beckoned. I lived and played in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, California and Alaska.
As great as waters like The Henry's Fork, The Missouri, The Gros Ventre and Flat Creek were I always knew I would return to live in Maine. With the amount of moving water in this state I am continually finding new places to explore.
Guiding for me is still as fresh today as it was when I first started. I can't think of a more rewarding occupation.
I like it. He certainly has a big smile.
