There are a few events this month of interest to fly addicts. It's good to maintain the psyche for the upcoming season.
The Fly Fishing Show starts this week. I always look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones at this show. The show will be held in Marlborough Mass. from the 14th to the 16th. Authors, tyers, artists, outfitters and manufacturers throughout the fly fishing industry will be in attendance. I plan on going on at least one of the days.
The "Fish Tales and Cocktails" event is this Saturday the 15th. If your at Sugarloaf this weekend make plans to stop in and attend. All proceeds to benefit the Casting For Recovery program. Real men wear PINK!
Presentation on Salmon Habitat and habitat restoration efforts. Ron Joseph will give a power point program pertaining to the Kennebec River watershed. Mr. Joseph has recently retired after 33 years of service with the DIFW and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a wildlife biologist. Thursday the 20th at the Farmington town office. Starting at 6p.m. This should be an interesting program.
Get out there and enjoy the new snow!
